Hello Stranger

Well, it's been quite a while since my last post... What have I been doing? Just GETTING MARRIED!

We decided to go to Las Vegas and have an Elvis ceremony at the Graceland Chapel- just the groom and I! The dress was designed by my mother and I and constructed entirely by her-Fascinator and all...It was the perfect low-key rock and roll ''wedding'' we wanted!

A few new sewing projects to share!

The top bag is the Sophia Carry-All pattern by Amy Butler done in awesome Anna Maria Horner home dec fabric. The rest are my patterns- I've been obsessed with sewing strange little bags lately... The Spider Pouch is done in Jane Sassaman's Praire Gothic, and the scissors pouch is made from new Moda loveliness with a screen-printed applique/patch from Bossa Nova Baby on Etsy.

Coraline!

The most visually stunning movie I've seen in a long time. Everything in it is handmade- including Coraline's *tiny* handknit sweaters!

Go see it in 3D, I've already seen it twice...
